1.1 When you submit a procurement request, we collect the information you give us in the form: company name, contact name, country, industry, a description of what you need sourced, an estimated order value where you choose to provide one, your email address and your phone number.

1.2 When you contact us by WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, phone or email, we collect the contact details you use and the content of your message.

1.3 To fulfil an order we may also collect delivery addresses, consignee details, customs and import documentation, and payment or billing details.

1.4 We collect limited technical information automatically when you visit this website, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site.

2.1 To respond to your enquiry, research and price the goods or services you have asked for, and provide you with a written cost estimate.

2.2 To arrange procurement, freight, customs clearance, insurance and delivery of the goods.

2.3 To invoice you and collect payment, and where necessary to pursue unpaid amounts.

2.4 To meet our legal obligations, including export, import and customs requirements in New Zealand and in the destination country.

2.5 To improve this website and understand how it is used.

3.1 We share the information necessary to complete your order with suppliers, freight forwarders, airlines and shipping lines, customs brokers, and insurers.

3.2 Because we ship to destinations across the Pacific, fulfilling an order routinely involves disclosing consignee details to parties outside New Zealand. Where we do this we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that comparable safeguards apply, as required by information privacy principle 12.

3.3 As set out in clause 12 of our Terms of Trade, we may disclose information to related companies, underwriters, credit reporting and assessment agencies, debt collection agencies and trade referees for purposes connected with our business.

3.4 We do not sell personal information.

4.1 This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google may process this data outside New Zealand.

4.2 This website uses the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of advertising and to reach people who have visited the site. Meta may process this data outside New Zealand.

4.3 You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

5.1 We store personal information on systems operated by us and by our service providers, some of which are located outside New Zealand.

5.2 We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification and disclosure.

5.3 We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this policy, and for as long as we are required to keep it under New Zealand tax, customs and company law.

6.1 You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to ask for a copy of it.

6.2 You have the right to ask us to correct information that is wrong, and to attach a statement of correction if we do not agree to change it.

6.4 If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information or your request, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
